Jansom Bay, Koh Tao

2012 is now upon us and the weather is amazing, sunshine and calm seas. This is perfect for our customers here in Jansom Bay.

Want to try diving but never tried it before, our bay is perfect for that. Nice and shallow with good visibility to complete the basic skills that are needed, after that we take off on one of our 3 dive sites here....Jansom Bay Wall. An awesome dive from shallow depths to a maximum depth of around 9m, perfect for your first time diving. So much variations of coral, funnel coral, brain coral, staghorn coral, octagon coral, school of yellow tailed barracudas, rabbit fish, gobies & shrimps, sea cucumbers and much more.
Our customers love this so much that they want to make a second dive and for this we take them to our 3 Rocks dive site, which is different from Jansom Bay Wall as in the massive rock formations with a swim through and hidey holes for the rays and fishes.

Each year Koh Tao gets more visitors thus making the island a very popular place to come and visit.
The diving is good here as most of our dive sites are just a short boat trip away, Chumphon Pinnacle - 40 minutes, Southwest Pinnacle - 30 to 40 minutes, White Rock, Hin Pee Wee, Japanese Gardens, Mango Bay, Red Rock, Green Rock, Twins & No Name 10 - 15 minutes, these are all on the west side of Koh Tao. On the east side of Koh Tao we have Lighthouse Bay, Laem Thian, Hin Wong, Aow Leuk, Buddha Rock, Tanote Bay, Shark Island & Hin Ngam.
So once you have completed your first dive you can either carry on and take the Open Water course or take our boat dives to some of the other sites around the island.

We also have 3 main wrecks here around Koh Tao, Unicorn (60m), Sattakut (30m) & Trident (36m) but there are other ones that you can snorkel on or dive on as well.
